Hey guys!!! Happy Hump Day!!! I don’t know about you but when everyone first started calling Wednesday hump day I thought of it in a really dirty way…well I was in middle school so that’s probably why. 🙂 So today I was tired this morning because I had a choir concert last night that didn’t end till like 9:45 so I didn’t go to bed until like 11:00 or something like that. 11:00 isn’t really all that late but I haven’t been going to bed at a regular time lately so it’s been messing with my sleep schedule making me exhausted. Most of the time when I am tired it’s because my sleep schedule has been abnormal. So yeah anyway, this is another one of those outfits that I love because it is so simple but looks like I tried really hard. All I did was put on the first things I touched and added accessories because I had little time (due to the fact I had trouble finding the motivation to get out of bed) which is basically what I do for school everyday except for when I have more time to get ready. I have always loved mixing bright colors together and this is one combination that just goes together effortlessly. The softness of the blue brings out the magenta in the pants which is why they compliment each other. They are both bold pieces but when put together they make even more of a statement. Also we cant forget my boots that have become my staple this season. They are so easy to slip on which is why I wear them basically everyday. Hey guys!! I guess I’m on a roll with posts being that this is the second in a row. Well anyway today was just a day at church and we celebrated my church anniversary of 64 years today which was pretty cool. I serve as a nurse at my church on fourth Sundays which is basically the person who gives people tissues and stuff of that nature. So I bring an outfit to change into meaning that is has to be something simple; I don’t want to have to many complicated things to put on. I think it looks a little more complicated because of the detailing on the shirt and boots which I love. I look like I tried when all I did was picked out the things I thought that looked good together and went with it. I love that when there is finite details you look more put together than you would otherwise. As always click that follow button.
shirt: mom’s closet
Today I just hung out with my family and went to see this movie called 12 years a slave. It was about a man who was kidnapped back into the slave trade in the south. It was a very moving story and I recommend that you go see it, but be fair warned you might cry from how intense the emotions get, I know I did. 😛 This is the first time I have every put a button down under anything and I really like the outcome. I will definitely be experimenting with my other button down plaid shirts. As Always click that follow button!!

This was something I did a while ago when I was inspired and wanted to do something creative. I looked online and found a tutorial for butterfly nails and went to town on it adding my own twist. I decided I wanted to mix the two styles of pop art and feminine together and it worked out really well. Also excuse the mess around the nails I just realized I didn’t clean the sides off before I took a picture of them.
Hey Guys!!! So it has been way too long since the last time that I posted and honestly I don’t even have a good excuse. I have just been really lazy lately (bad Whitney!!). But I’m trying to get back on the horse and start posting regularly again. I just need to motivate myself out of my chronic case of couch potato. Anyway today I wore a shirt that actually used to belong to my mom and I was able to put my own spin on it. I love that fashion always comes full circle at one point or another because now my closet is full of the trends right now and I didn’t spend any money on it. The hand-me-downs from my mom combined with the stuff I pulled out from under my bed for the fall/winter season has me set for my wardrobe this season. I also put on some jewelry which I rarely ever do but I just felt kind of fancy today. Also excuse my selfie in the mirror I just wanted you guys to be able to see the color of my pants a little better because for some reason I couldn’t get the lighting to work with me so my pants kept appearing white. Enjoy!! As always don’t forget to click that follow button! 🙂 ❤ ❤ ❤
